Zultys Cloud Services, MXvirtual, Makes Big Splash in Annual Awards Listings

It's the kind of thing that most everyone has seen at some point; a country that takes huge amounts of gold at the Olympics, an actor or movie that stacks up the wins at the Oscars or the like, or any similar event. For Zultys, meanwhile, it's having one of those periods itself, as it recently won a slate of awards from several magazines for its lineup of cloud services.

Zultys, back in 2014, brought out a new version of its MX IP-PBX platform known as MXvirtual, a version that operated strictly on a cloud basis and brought what was described as "...all of the advanced functionality of premises-based MX solutions to the cloud." That by itself would be a significant accomplishment, but it was far from the only such accomplishment, as both MXvirtual and the Zultys Cloud Services system took several major awards through 2014.

The two services have much in common, offering up access to several features ranging from chat functions and instant message (IM) capability to complete auto attendant with interactive voice response (IVR) systems and contact center functionality. The key difference between the two, at last report, is the variety of different deployment options available, allowing one tool to work where another might not.

But while the two were similar, both also won plenty of attention in 2014. MXvirtual took a 2014 Cloud Computing Product of the Year award from Cloud Computing magazine, recognizing it as a product that was one of the most innovative in the market, as well as one of the most useful and beneficial. That was just the beginning, as Zultys Cloud Services landed the 2015 CUSTOMER Product of the Year award fromCUSTOMER magazine thanks to its array of services that landed it, as TMC CEO Rich Tehrani called it, "...elite status." Finally, Zultys Cloud Services also netted the 2015 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year award thanks to what was described as "...its commitment to excellence and innovation."

Considering the sheer amount of things that both MXvirtual and Zultys Cloud Services are capable of doing in the field, it's not surprising that such tools as these should win such a string of awards. Putting so many functions in one package makes these incredibly versatile offerings, allowing the tools to be put to work in a variety of different ways and making same more accessible to more businesses. The product automatically expands its overall market reach thanks to the sheer number of things it can do, and that kind of Swiss Army knife-style functionality, when coupled with the proper amount of reliability, makes it valuable in the field as well.

Winning this many awards in one trip is no mean feat, and we're likely to see a lot more innovating out of Zultys by the time it's all said and done. Just what form that innovation will take is a point only time will tell, but considering what has been seen so far, we should be in for quite a trip in the short term
